Welcome to the website dedicated to the Pennington Folk Festival in beautiful Princeton, Kentucky. Planning is underway for the 13th annual event that will take place June 3-6, 2010. Free to the public with concessions available, this music festival grows bigger and better with each passing year.
Festival namesake Eddie Pennington and son Alonzo Pennington are currently making contacts and booking acts for this year's festival. The line-up should be announced March 1.

Festivities kick off Thursday, June 3, with the Back Stage Square Dance
Music will begin Friday, June 4, at 6 p.m. and last until 10 p.m.
Saturday, June 5, activities will include the Rotary Run/Walk, Pennington Talent Contest, Lakeland Cruisers Car Show/Cruise-In and music on the main stage until approximately 10 p.m.
For the first time ever, a Sunday, June 6, concert is being planned.
H.R. Ministries will sponsor the final day of the festival with Christian music and an evangelist being planned.

Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, dancing shoes, and leave your worries behind. Fun, festivities and fine music await you in the heart of downtown Princeton, Kentucky.
Downtown Princeton is easily accessible from I-24 and the Western Kentucky Parkway.
